Endobronchial Characterization by EBUS Radial of the Lobular Capillary Hemangioma
Main Article Content
Abstract
Pyogenic granuloma or capillary lobular hemangioma (CLH) is a rare presentation type of hemangioma in adults. It is usually located on the cutaneous surface or oral mucosa however the tracheobronchial presentation is quite rare. In 25% of patients, it is usually associated with hemoptysis, which is often the most characteristic sign and it speaks of severity. It does not have a specific clinical picture and the radiological findings are what allow the diagnostic suspicion.
A definitive diagnosis of this disease depends on histopathology. We present a case of endobronchial of CLH with tomographic and endoscopic characterization using radial EBUS.
