Introducing the latest issue of Respirar 2020

Abstract

RESPIRAR has been the educational journal for ALAT for many years and with the passing of time it has managed to increase its quality and number of publications along with the growth of ALAT as a regional respiratory organization. This is why the ALAT Executive Committee, which I chair, has seen the need to make the decision to take a leap to improve and turn our educational journal into a scientific journal of original research and not only educational. To achieve this goal of our strategic plan, we have appointed an Editorial Committee with its two editors-in-chief, Dr. Francisco Arancibia and Dr. Carlos Luna, who will appoint their deputy and international editors, and we have hired Mercedes Cavallero, a secretary with experience in text writing and editorial management. The organization and planning of the next steps to be taken to fulfill this dream for everyone in ALAT is in full swing.
